Intro

Here you can download the teaching guide for this extra activity to do with the toy and print activities related to the game. You can also download the digital game and use it whenever and wherever you want.

How to use the digital game

Choose from the falling letters the ones that are the same as those on the left. Drag them to check if you did it well. You must get 9 identical letters to finish and start with a new letter.

How to use the toy

Write a name on the board. Choose a Miniland letter and say whether this name contains a letter which is the same as the one you have chosen. Look for letters which are different. The sheet (printed out beforehand) shows the steps to be taken to trace certain Miniland consonants (M, P, S, T, C and L) and, thus, learn the direction in which they are written. Hand out the Miniland letters and trace them in accordance with the steps on the sheet. This activity is ideal for developing the fine motor skills and recognition of the outline of the letters.
